Most new parents want to do everything they can to ensure their baby has the best chance of having a great life. After reading all the books, talking to all the friends, and eating all the right foods, parents quickly learn that taking care of their baby is not formulaic. Everyone has a different answer. According to author Kathleen McCue, a nurse practitioner and lactation consultant, there is no one right way to do it. She suggests that new mothers take everyone’s advice, stir it up in a pot, and pull out the pieces that work for themselves and their baby.
